Well, I heard one of those "I wonder what impact this will have" type stories this morning. Apparently the FCC is going to be putting the thumbscrews to ISPs to crack down on zombie network activity. Now what the individual ISPs will be able to do about it directly is going to make this story interesting. I have a good friend at one of the companies I partner with, Wild Wolf Web Hosting and Design as well as another friend at Silicon Connections and I will be following this story as it relates to them and their companies. Anyway, back to the mill.. take care.
Cheers,
Skip

I agree Skip, it's a growing concern and it doesn't stop on the internet. Yesterday I was contacted by a client who gets their internet connectivity through me and was asking why a service provider, whom I use, was calling them. Does that make sense? In other words, no service provider should have been calling because I have the client's account info not the provider. That means that one of these crappy third world groups has somehow gotten that client's name and contact information, they're by passing me, but not to steal my client for themselves ... if only it were that simple. These guys wanted the client to provide their secure information. That means that the scam isn't just in those fake emails they send out to everyone. It means they've gone to a whole new level. NEVER, NEVER give out your username and passwords to anyone ... EVER!!!
